The Canal Boatbuilders Association members had a splashing good time at Crick Boat Show this weekend.

Members displayed their new exhibition materials to promote their CBA & BMF membership to get the buyers looking for the logos as they appeared round the show at members stands on the flags and roof boxes on board the boats.

Despite there being some noticeable empty moorings in the marina area, builders reported more positive feedback than in the previous 12 months.

With over 200 stalls ashore visitors had plenty to look at as well as the boats afloat, along with the entertainment of boat trips, little pirates, dragon boating in the marina, educational seminars on boat maintenance and the ever popular live music. Visitor numbers though not yet confirmed by the organizers were good despite the mixed bank holiday weather.
